Melaka
City Centre is the commercial centre of Melaka, however
the landscape is dominated by old 3 storey shophouses
that give Melaka its charm and ambiance.
Hotels in this area are
concentrated along Jl. Bendahara north of Jl. Munshi
Abdullah as well as Jln. Hang Tuah along by the city's
main shopping area. Obviously not as close to Melaka's
historical district, nonetheless hotels in the city
centre are still within walking distance to it.
Hotels in Melaka City Centre are usually larger, full
service 3 and 4 star properties managed by local chains
with an international presence (ie City Bayview Hotels
& Grand Continental Hotels).
