” India’s justice system seems to be crumbling. We now have to rely on that a police that handled to let unarmed suspects escape their custody, and needed to shoot them dead because they could not capture them alive, is somehow skilled enough to have determined and jailed the genuine offenders? SHEKHAR GUPTA, SENIOR INDIAN JOURNALIST

” Anyone cheering mafia-style Hyderabad ‘justice’ ought to never grumble about ISIS beheadings, Taliban lynchings & Maoist kangaroo court executions. Modern, civilized state progressed over millennia, however we still have no persistence for due process– as long as victims are ‘others’.”

” It is wrong and crammed to call these ‘encounter killings.’ These are more like ‘custodial killings.’ The rape/murder implicated had been positioned by the court in lawful Hyderabad cops custody– which also indicates the state’s protection.”
