Harvey’s speech, provided at the Future Farmers of America convention in 1978, is as follows:

And on the 8th day God looked down on his scheduled paradise and stated, “I need a caretaker!”. God made a farmer!

God stated I require somebody to get up before dawn and milk cows and work throughout the day in the fields, milk cows again, eat dinner and then go to town and remain past midnight at a conference of the school board. So, God made a farmer!

I require someone with strong arms.

God stated “I need someone that can shape an ax manage, shoe a horse with a hunk of vehicle tire make a harness out of hay wire, feed sacks and shoe scraps.

God needed to have someone willing to ride the ruts at double speed to get the hay in ahead of the rain clouds and yet stop on mid-field and race to assist when he sees the first smoke from a neighbor’s place. So, God made a farmer!

God said, “I need somebody strong enough to clear trees, heave bails and yet gentle enough to tame lambs and wean pigs and tend the pink combed pullets … and who will stop his lawn mower for an hour to fix the broken leg of a meadow lark. God made a farmer!

It needed to be somebody who had actually rake deep and straight … and not cut corners. Somebody to seed and weed, feed and breed … and rake and disc and plow and plant and connect the fleece and pressure the milk. Somebody to replenish the self feeder and after that finish a tough days deal with a five mile drive to church. Somebody who ‘d bale a family together with the soft strong bonds of sharing, who had actually laugh and then sigh … and after that respond with smiling eyes, when his boy states he wants to spend his life “doing what daddy does”. God made a farmer!

Bloomberg would not last 3 seconds as a farmer … however like his comments on minorities, you can tell he truly hates regular hardworking Americans.

He will never defend them due to the fact that he could not care less about them. https://t.co/03 CmskF5Vn
