WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Vice President Mike Pence said on Thursday the hazard from coronavirus to the American public stays low, and the White Home has begun conversations with leaders of the U.S. Congress on a supplemental spending expense to eliminating the spread of the lethal infectious disease.

” Our finest quote is that the threat to the American public … remains low,” Pence said. “In the days ahead we’re going to make certain that the complete resources of the federal government continue to be brought to bear in challenging the coronavirus here at home.”

Pence also stated that he is leading the White Home’s task force on attending to the fatal illness and will count on Health Secretary Alex Azar as its chairman.
