( Reuters) – WarnerMedia is reuniting its “Pals” cast for an untitled, unscripted special for its approaching streaming service, HBO Max, the business said on Friday.

AT&T Inc’s ( T.N) WarnerMedia said here series stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer will go back to the hit comedy’s original soundstage, Phase 24, on the Warner Bros studio lot in Burbank, California.

There have actually been a flurry of media reports about a possible reunion given that Aniston hinted in 2015 that something might be underway.

Aniston spoke to talk program host Ellen DeGeneres about a possible new “Pals” project saying, “We would love for there to be something, however we do not know what that something is. We’re just trying. We’re dealing with something.”

The unscripted cast reunion special, which will be directed by Ben Winston, along with all 10 seasons of the Emmy-winning series, will be readily available to subscribers at the launch of HBO Max in May.

Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal said the six stars would get in between $2.25 million and $2.5 million as part of the deal.
